My Expertise
My name is Christiana Davis. I am originally from Sierra Leone, West Africa. I completed medical training in Russia and matriculated to the United States. I opted for a career in the biomedical sciences at the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia and later joined the University of Pennsylvania as a postdoctoral fellow. I became a recipient of NIH’s National Research Service Award for training in Molecular and Cellular Biology (one of the most prestigious awards in the sciences.) I later gained some experience in industry, before pursuing my current position at Penn Medicine’s Abramson Cancer Center in Philadelphia.
I’ll share my story, and stories of other successful IMGs.
